The FTSE 100 Index is gaining 36 points or 0.33 percent on Friday. Leading the gains are BT (4.32%), AstraZeneca (2.96%) and Prudential (2.81%). Top losers are Airtel Africa (-4.89%), Fresnillo (-4.16%) and Natwest (-3.42%).
