USA: Futures Extend Rebound.
Futures tracking US equities were higher on Friday, extending the sharp rebound from the previous session on hopes of an imminent agreement between the US and Iran, in addition to signs of high speculative demand for SpaceX in its IPO. Contracts for the S&P 500, the Nasdaq 100, and Dow gained over 0.5%. President Trump stated the US was close to a deal that would gradually restore energy trade through the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran confirmed a deal was nearly finalized. Energy prices and bond yields pulled back, offering some relief to credit conditions after recent data pointed to accelerated consumer and producer prices. AI infrastructure stocks gained ahead of the SpaceX IPO, raising $75 billion for fresh expenditure on data centers and compute capacity. Reports indicated the stock was over four-fold oversubscribed. Nvidia and Amazon each added around 1%. Meanwhile, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs were higher to support the financial sector.
