USA: Week Ahead - Feb 16th.
Data releases halfway through February will add to how markets see the global economy amid uncertainty on trade, monetary policy, and fiscal spending by major players. The Federal Reserve will release minutes from its last meeting, which saw a pause in its cutting cycle. The US will also unveil its 4th quarter GDP and publish fresh income and outlays aggregates. Meanwhile, Canada will post its inflation rate, and European PMIs will shed light on leading indicators for the region's largest economies. Finally, China's New Year Holidays will leave the spotlight to Japan's fourth quarter GDP and inflation, while the RBA will also unveil meeting minutes. Earnings events will include a broad range of industries with reports due from Walmart, Airbus, Newmont, BHP, Palo Alto Networks, Booking Holdings, Analog Devices, Warner Bros, and Air Liquide.
