The SENSEX Index gained 73 points or 0.09 percent on Wednesday to close at 78502 points. Gains were led by Larsen & Toubro (1.43%), NTPC (1.32%) and UltraTech Cement (1.16%). Biggest losers were HCL Tech (-2.18%), Tata Consultancy (-1.86%) and Bajaj Finserv (-1.19%).
