The FTSE 100 Index is up by 37 points or 0.34 percent on Wednesday. Top gainers are NEXT (6.08%), Glencore (3.98%) and Fresnillo (3.88%). Biggest losses came from HSBC Holdings (-3.07%), Prudential (-1.46%) and Standard Chartered (-1.02%).
