Consumer prices in Sao Paulo were almost flat month-on-month in July 2026, after increasing by 0.18% in the preceding month. Price growth eased for health (0.10% vs 0.31% in June), while prices fell for food (-0.69% vs 0.13%); transportation (-0.13% vs 0.10%) and personal expenses (-0.07% vs -0.03%). Conversely, faster increases were seen for clothing (0.58% vs 0.31%); housign (0.57% vs 0.34%) and education (0.30% vs 0.11%).
