Denmark’s unemployment rate stood at 2.7% in July 2026, unchanged for the sixth consecutive month. The number of unemployed persons rose by 0.1 thousand from the previous month to 82.1 thousand full-time workers. The unemployment rate for men held steady at 3.0%, while the rate for women remained at 3.1%. Unemployment rates were also unchanged across all age groups, remaining lowest among those aged 16–24 at 1.6% and highest among 25–29-year-olds at 4.9%. Meanwhile, the number of unemployed receiving unemployment benefits rose by 0.2 thousand to 78.4 thousand, while those on cash assistance fell by 0.1 thousand to 15.2 thousand.
