27 August 2026, 09:13  Lithuania: Industrial Output Growth Slows in July.

Industrial production in Lithuania grew by 3.3% year-on-year in July 2026, slowing from a slightly upwardly revised 9.9% increase in the previous month. The softer growth in industrial activity was largely driven by lower activity in mining and quarrying, which fell by 1.6% after a sharp 16.1% gain in June. Output also declined for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-4.1% vs -3.6%) and water supply, wastewater treatment, waste management and regeneration (-12.1% vs -7.7%). At the same time, production in the manufacturing sector also rose at a softer pace (3.6% vs 10.4%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output decreased by 2.4% in July, slipping from a downwardly revised 1.8% growth in the preceding period.
