Taiwan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 3.33% in July 2026, unchanged from the previous month. The number of unemployed people also remained unchanged at 401 thousand. Youth unemployment among those aged 15–24 rose to 11.71% from 11.57% in June. Meanwhile, the number of employed people fell by 2 thousand to 11.646 million. The labor force participation rate was little changed at 59.59% in July, compared with a four-month high of 59.60% in June. In July 2025, the jobless rate was also 3.33%.
