The SENSEX Index dropped 327 points or 0.42 percent on Wednesday to close at 76908 points. Losses were led by Power Grid (-1.98%), Bajaj Finance (-1.29%) and ITC (-1.26%). Offsetting the fall, top gainers were HCL Tech (1.85%), Eternal Limited (1.33%) and Sun Pharmaceuticals (1.27%).
