19 August 2026, 01:55  New Zealand: PPI Input Prices Rises the Most in 5 Quarters.

Producer input prices in New Zealand advanced by 2.9% quarter-on-quarter in the three months to June 2026, after a 1.4% rise in the previous quarter and surpassing market expectations of a 1.3% growth. It was the fastest increase since Q1 2025, with the largest contributors to the rise in input prices being electricity and gas supply, which rose 11.0%, dairy product manufacturing (3.9%), and road transport (8.4%).
