17 August 2026, 10:17  Czech Republic: Producer Prices Rise for Fourth Month.

Producer prices in the Czech Republic rose 1.6% year-on-year in July 2026 from 1.3% in the previous month, marking a fourth consecutive month of annual growth after fourteen months of decline. Costs increased for manufactured products (3.2% vs 2.8% in June), particularly basic metals (4.7% vs 3.1%) and machinery and equipment (1.2% vs 0.7%). At the same time, deflation eased slightly for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning (-3.9% vs -4.4%). Meanwhile, prices slowed for mining and quarrying (1.9% vs 2.1%), while remaining steady for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services at 3.9%. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.3% in July, rebounding from a 0.4% decline in June.
