11 August 2026, 07:45 Netherlands: July Inflation Revised Slightly Up to 3.2%.
The annual inflation rate in the Netherlands for July 2026 was revised slightly upward to 3.2% from a preliminary estimate of 3.1%, compared with 2.9% in June. The main upward pressure came from a faster increase in motor fuel prices (22% vs 17.3% in June) and a rebound in energy costs (1.1% vs -1.8%). The expansion of import duties on consumer goods ordered from outside the European Union also contributed to higher inflation. Meanwhile, housing price growth slowed to 4.3% from 4.7%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 1.6%, rebounding from a 0.6% fall in the previous month.
