10 August 2026, 09:16  Denmark: Inflation Eases to 1.7% in July.

The annual inflation rate in Denmark eased to 1.7% in July 2026 from 1.9% in each of the previous two months. The main downward pressures came from housing and utilities, where prices were unchanged (0% vs 0.5% in June), and a sharper decline in food prices (-1.6% vs -0.9%). Price growth also softened for personal care and miscellaneous goods and services (1.5% vs 1.8%), leisure, sports and culture (0.8% vs 2.8%), and clothing and footwear (0.9% vs 2.3%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 1.3%, following a 0.2% rise in the previous month.
