12 May 2026, 10:34 Lithuania: Producer Prices Rise Most Since 2023.
Producer prices in Lithuania climbed 13.6% year-on-year in April 2026, following an upwardly revised 8% jump in the previous month. This marked the strongest growth in producer prices since February 2023, lifted by higher costs in the manufacturing sector (14.3% vs 8.2% in March), particularly in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (80.4% vs 49.2%). At the same time, prices increased in mining and quarrying (0.9% vs 0.5%) and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (5.1% vs 2.3%). In contrast, producer inflation slowed in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (4.1% vs 7.8%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 3% in April, easing from an upwardly revised 9.6% growth in the preceding period.
