11 May 2026, 13:27 Slovenia: Industrial Output Rebounds in March.
Industrial production in Slovenia rose by 3.8% year-on-year in March 2026, rebounding sharply from an upwardly revised 3.8% decline in the previous month and marking the first increase in eight months, since July 2025. Production grew for manufacturing (6.4% vs 0.3% in February) while mining and quarrying continued to decline (-12.0% vs -1.1%). Output for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply fell at a softer pace (-14.1% vs -31.9%). By industrial grouping, output rose for capital goods (15.3% vs 8.8%), consumer goods (8.2% vs -1.4%), and non-durable consumer goods (10.8% vs -1.9%), while durable goods fell (-5.1% vs 0.6%). On a monthly basis, industrial activity rose by 4.9% in March.
