The annual inflation rate in Seychelles eased to 0.55% in August 2025 from a seven-month high of 0.64% in the preceding month. The slowdown was driven by softer price increases for other food items (2.08% vs 2.21% in July), non-food products (0.41% vs 0.44%), and a sharper decline in fresh fish prices (-4.74% vs -1.33%). On a monthly basis, the CPI was almost flat in August, after a 0.17% increase in the prior month.
