In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 Index rose 378 points or 0.9 percent on Friday. Leading the gains are Sumitomo Dainippon (10.1%), Nikon Corporation (6%) and Konica Minolta (5.6%). Top losers were Yamato Transport (-2.7%), Taisei (-2.5%) and Toho Zinc (-1.5%).
