3 September 2025, 23:15  Sweden: Services PMI Back in Expansion.

The Services PMI in Sweden climbed to 53.4 in August 2025 from an upwardly revised 49.0 in July, signaling a renewed recovery after briefly slipping into contraction. The rebound was driven by a sharp rise in new orders, which climbed to 58.4 from 52.2, alongside an improvement in business activity to 53.0 from 50.2. However, labor market conditions remained weak, with employment stuck below the 50-mark at 44.6, though up from 37.3 in July, marking the 13th consecutive month of contraction. Supplier delivery times were unchanged at 53.7, extending their run of lengthening lead times to 15 months. On prices, input costs accelerated to 56.6 - the highest in five months but still below the historical average of 58.0 - indicating rising but contained cost pressures. Swedbank analyst J
