Croatia’s industrial production fell by 0.9% year-on-year in July 2025, following a 2.1% gain in the previous month. This marked the weakest growth in industrial activity since November 2024, driven by lower output in mining and quarrying (0.2% vs 3%) and manufacturing (1% vs 3.3% in July), particularly in the manufacture of food products, wearing apparel, coke and refined petroleum, and non-metallic mineral products. In addition, output declined for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-11.1 vs 0.5%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rose by 2.6% in July, rebounding from a 1.4% fall in the preceding period.
