In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 Index decreased 387 points or 0.9 percent on Wednesday. Losses were driven by Tokyo Electric Power (-7.1%), Softbank (-5.4%) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (-5.3%). Biggest rises came from Yokohama Rubber (3.2%), Eisai (3.1%) and Odakyu Electric Railway (2.3%).
