Paraguay's GDP expanded 5.9% year-over-year in Q2 2025, matching the 5.9% in the previous quarter. Growth was driven by strong performance in services (6.8% vs 5.9% in Q1), utilities (14.3% vs 8.3%), while agriculture contracted at a slower pace (-3.1% vs -3.4%). Onthe other hand, expansion eased in construction (4.5% vs 12.9%), manufacturing (4.3% vs 6.8%), livestock, forestry, fishing, and mining surged (4.8% vs 10.9%). From the expenditure side, domestic demand rose 9.0%, slightly below the 10.2% growth in Q1.
