2 September 2025, 09:59  Europe: Stocks Set for Softer Open Ahead of Inflation Data.

European equity markets were on track to open lower on Tuesday as investors turned cautious ahead of key inflation data that could guide the region’s monetary policy outlook. Attention will center on preliminary Eurozone inflation figures for August, alongside Spanish unemployment and Italian producer price data. On Monday, European stocks started the new month higher, with defense and healthcare shares leading gains on the back of solid corporate results. In premarket trade, Euro Stoxx 50 futures slipped 0.3%, while Stoxx 600 futures edged down 0.2%.
