Poland’s corporate employment fell by 0.8% year-on-year to 6.42 million in August 2025, matching market forecasts, from previous month’s 0.9% decline. This marked the 25th consecutive month of decrease in corporate employment. On a monthly basis, employment levels dropped by 0.2% from 0.1% decrease in the preceding period. Meanwhile, the average monthly gross salary increased by 7.1% from a year earlier to PLN 8,769.1.
