17 September 2025, 17:33 Serbia: Current Account Deficit Narrows in July.
Serbia’s current account deficit narrowed to $480 million in July 2025 from a revised $663 million in the corresponding month of the previous year. Goods account shortfall eased to $724 million from $759 million in July 2024, while services account surplus slightly edged up to $74 million from $10 million. The primary income deficit declined slightly to $447 million in July 2025 from $467 million a year earlier, and the secondary income surplus increased to $617 million from $553 million. For the first seven months of 2025, the current account gap widened to $2.65 billion, compared with $1.83 billion over the same period in 2024.
