Total average weekly earnings including bonuses in the UK rose 4.7% year-on-year to GBP 727 per week in the three months to July 2025, slightly higher than 4.7% in the previous period and in line with forecasts. Private sector wage growth eased (4.6% vs 4.7%), and a small slowdown was also seen for the public sector (5.1% vs 5.3%). Adjusted for inflation, total earnings increased 0.5%, the same as in the previous period.
