11 September 2025, 13:18  Italy: FTSE MIB Slightly Higher.

The FTSE MIB edged higher to around 42,000 on Thursday, mirroring modest movements across most European peers, as investors looked ahead to key events later in the day. The ECB is widely expected to keep interest rates unchanged, though markets will be closely watching for any signals on the economic outlook for the remainder of the year, along with updated macroeconomic projections. Meanwhile, the US CPI report is expected to provide further insight into tariff-related price pressures, although the figures are not expected to shift market expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut next week. On the domestic bourse, Buzzi Unicem emerged as the early top performer, climbing more than 6%. Other notable gainers included Tenaris (+2.3%), Saipem (+1.5%), Interpump Group (+1.4%), and Azimut Holding (+1.4%).
