The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Greece fell to 8% in July 2025, from an upwardly revised 9% in the previous month. This marked the lowest reading since November 2008, as the number of unemployed individuals dropped by 22.4 thousand from a month earlier to 380.9 thousand. Meanwhile, employment rose by 46.1 thousand month-on-month to 4.4 million in July. Additionally, the number of people outside the labour force decreased by 26 thousand to 2.983 million.
