Foreign exchange reserves in Hong Kong increased to $431.9 billion in June, marking the highest level since January 2023, up from an upwardly revised $431.1 billion in the previous month. The amount represented more than five times the currency in circulation, or about 37% of Hong Kong dollar M3. Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, the foreign currency reserve assets amounted to $431.8 billion in June.
