7 July 2025, 11:13  Europe: Markets Set for Muted Open.

European equity markets were poised for a subdued start on Monday as investors weighed persistent global trade tensions. In the latest development, US President Donald Trump threatened to impose an additional 10% tariff on countries aligning with what he called “anti-American policies on BRICS.” Traders are also awaiting fresh data releases, including Eurozone retail sales and the UK’s Halifax house price index, for further market direction. In premarket trading, Euro Stoxx 50 futures edged up 0.1%, while Stoxx 600 futures were little changed.
