4 July 2025, 18:40 COLOMBIA: Exports Drop in May.
Colombia's exports fell by 2.1% year-on-year to USD 4.359 billion in May 2025, following a 6.5% decline in the prior month. This decrease was primarily led by a 18.7% plunge in shipments from fuels and extractive industries, while manufactured goods edged 0.1 lower. Conversely, exports from the agricultural industry surged 26.2%. The United States remained the top export destination, accounting for 27.2% of total shipments, followed by Panama (7.0%), India (4.8%) and Netherlands (4.7%).
