US utilities injected 48 billion cubic feet of natural gas into storage on the week ending July 25, 2025, bringing total inventories to 3.123 trillion cubic feet. The result was above expectations of a 38 bcf build. Current storage levels were around 3.8% lower than those one year ago, but remained 6.7% above the current five-year average.
