Producer prices in Belgium fell 0.6% year-on-year in June 2025, reversing a 0.3% increase in the previous month. The decline was mainly driven by a downturn in consumer goods prices (-0.03% vs 1.61% in May), with durable consumer goods falling more sharply (-0.62% vs -0.47%) and non-durable consumer goods remaining flat (0.0% vs 1.7%). Meanwhile, prices declined further in intermediate goods (-1.70% vs -0.48%) and energy (-1.96% vs -2.01%). In contrast, prices rose at a faster pace in capital goods (2.65% vs 2.52%), partially offsetting the broader price weakness. On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased 0.5% in June, following a 0.2% drop in May.
