Crude oil inventories in the US rose by 7.698 million barrels in the week ended July 25, 2025, the most in six months and against market expectations of a 2 million decline, according to data from the EIA Petroleum Status Report. Meanwhile, stocks in the Cushing, Oklahoma, delivery hub went up by 690 thousand barrels. Among refined fuels, gasoline stocks dropped by 2.725 million barrels while stocks of distillate fuels rose by 3.635 million barrels.
