The Swiss investors’ sentiment index climbed by 37.7 points from the previous month to 17.7 in January 2025. The latest figure ended a four-month sequence in negative territory, suggesting a slightly more optimistic economic outlook. According to UBS, majority of the surveyed analysts no longer expect further interest rate cuts by the National Bank. Meanwhile, the current conditions index edged down to 12.5 in July from 12.8 in the preceding month.
