Hungary’s trade surplus narrowed to EUR 978 million in June 2025 from EUR 1,124 million in the corresponding month a year ago, as exports rose less than imports. Year-on-year, exports grew by 0.1% to EUR 12,273 million, while imports increased by 1.4% to EUR 11,295 million. Considering the first six months of the year, the country’s trade surplus fell to EUR 6,813 million from EUR 7,770 million in the same period last year.
