29 July 2025, 12:52 Belgium: GDP Expands for 7th Quarter.
Belgium's goss domestic product rose by 0.2% from the previous quarter in the three months to June of 2025, easing from the 0.4% growth in the previous period, based on a preliminary estimate. Despite tying with the softest pace, it was the seventh consecutive period of quarterly growth to mark over four years without a contraction in the GDP, underlying some robustness in the Belgian economy. Growth was supported by services and construction, each growing by 0.2%, to offset the 0.1% contraction in the industrial sector. From the previous year, the Belgian GDP expanded by 1%.
