Retail sales in Denmark rose by 1.4% year-on-year in June 2025, reversing a 4% gain in the previous month. This marked the slowest growth since the contraction in February, as sales moderated for both clothing (0.4% vs 6.1% in May) and other consumer goods (5.2% vs 6.8%). In addition, sales slipped for food and other groceries (-2.9% vs 0.3%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail activity fell by 0.8% in June, reversing a 0.9% rise in the previous month and marking its first contraction since March.
