Finland's manufacturing confidence indicator rose to -6 in July 2025 from -9 in the previous month. This marked the highest reading since March, though it remained below the long-term average. Expectations for production over the next three months improved significantly (14 vs 5 in June), slightly above average of 13. However, the order book dropped further (-30 vs -29), well below average of -9. Meanwhile, inventories of finished goods remained at normal levels (1 vs 2). Production capacity was still underutilized, as only 55% of respondents reported operating at full capacity. In June, industrial confidence in Finland was weaker than the average level of EU countries.
