23 July 2025, 14:06 Lithuania: Industrial Output Growth at 3-Month High.
Industrial production in Lithuania rose by 4.3% year-on-year in June 2025, accelerating from a downwardly revised and eleven-month low of 0.9% increase in the previous month. This marked the strongest growth in industrial activity since March, mainly driven by higher output in the manufacturing sector (4.1% vs 0.5% in May) and electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply (11.4% vs 14.9%). At the same time, production declined at a lesser extent for mining and quarrying (-4.5% vs -6.2%). On the other hand, activity decreased further for water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation services (-2.8% vs -2.1%). On a seasonally adjusted basis, industrial output dropped by 2.7% in June, slipping from a downwardly revised 0.9% gain in the preceding period.
