Taiwan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 3.34% in June 2025, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its lowest level since November 2000. The number of unemployed persons increased by 8 thousand to 404 thousand, while employment grew by 6 thousand to 11.617 million. The youth unemployment rate - which tracks job seekers aged 20 to 24 - rose to an eight-month high of 11.71% in June 2025, up from a four-month low of 11.14% in the previous month. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate increased to 59.38% in June, compared to 59.3% in the previous month.
