2 July 2025, 17:01 Turkey: Trade Deficit Widens in June.
Turkey's trade deficit widened to USD 8.2 billion in June 2025 from USD 5.9 billion in the same month of the previous year, according to preliminary estimates from the Trade Ministry. Exports rose by 7.8% year-on-year to a one-year low of USD 20.5 billion, while imports increased at a faster pace of 15.2% to a four-month low of USD 28.7 billion. In the first half of the year, the country recorded a trade deficit of USD 49.47 billion, with exports increasing by 4.1% and imports growing by 7.2%.
