Construction output in the Euro Area rose 2.9% from the previous year in May 2025, following an upwardly revised 4.7% rise in the previous month. Output eased for construction of buildings (6.4% vs 7.4 in April), civil engineering (2.9% vs 3.2%) and specialised construction activities (1% vs 2%). From the previous month, construction output went down by 1.7%, after a 4.9% surge in April.
