16 July 2025, 11:15  USA: Producer Prices to Rise Faster, Annual Growth to Slow.

US producer prices are expected to rise by 0.2% month-over-month in June 2025, which would be the highest increase in five months, compared to a 0.1% gain in May. Investors will be watching for any signs of inflationary pressures linked to tariffs. The core PPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, is also projected to increase by 0.2% in June, following a 0.1% rise in the previous month. On an annual basis, headline producer inflation is forecast to fall to 2.5% from 2.6% and the core producer inflation is expected to decrease to 2.7% from 3%.
