S&P 500 futures rose 0.4%, and Nasdaq 100 futures gained 0.6%, while Dow Jones contracts were little changed on Tuesday, following modest gains in the previous session. Nvidia shares jumped more than 4% in premarket trading after the company announced plans to resume sales of its top-selling H20 AI chip to China, having secured assurances from Washington that such shipments would be approved. Meanwhile, investors were focused on the upcoming US CPI report and the start of the corporate earnings season. JPMorgan Chase shares rose around 0.5% premarket after the bank reported earnings and revenue that beat expectations. Citigroup was also trading higher, up 0.9% ahead of its results. In contrast, Wells Fargo shares fell 1.2% before the opening bell after the bank lowered its full-year net interest income guidance.
