15 July 2025, 14:06  Poland: Inflation Rate Confirmed at 4.1%

Poland’s annual inflation rate was confirmed at 4.1% in June 2025, matching the initial estimate and accelerating slightly from 4.0% in the previous month. The uptick was primarily driven by faster price increases in communication (4.4% vs 2.8% in May), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (6.7% vs 6.3%), and restaurants and hotels (6.0% vs 5.9%), along with weaker deflation in transport (-6.0% vs -7.2%). In contrast, the increase was partially offset by slower price increases in food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.9% vs 5.5%), housing and utilities (10.5% vs 10.6%), health (4.6% vs 4.9%), and miscellaneous goods and services (1.3% vs 2.0%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices edged up 0.1% in June, confirming preliminary estimates and rebounding from a 0.2% drop in May.
