10 July 2025, 03:39 United Kingdom: House Price Balance Unchanged in June.
The UK Residential Market Survey by RICS showed the house price balance remained at -7% in June 2025, unchanged from May and slightly better than market expectations of -8%. This marks the third consecutive month of negative readings and the lowest level since July 2024, indicating a broadly flat to slightly declining trend in house prices overall. However, the national figure masks notable regional disparities. Respondents in the South East, East Anglia, and London reported more pronounced declines in house prices compared to the national average. In contrast, the house price indicator remained in positive territory in Northern Ireland, the North West of England, Scotland, and the East Midlands, signaling localized market strength in these areas.
