Bundesbank president Axel Weber said the European Central Bank will do what is necessary to maintain price stability in the euro zone. "(ECB) president (Jean-Claude) Trichet made it clear... we will do what is necessary to secure price stability," Weber told reporters at a press conference. Weber, who is also a member of the ECB's rate-setting governing council, said there are still risks to price stability.
