The GfK market research institute said its consumer climate index is forecast to climb to 7.8 points in July from 7.0 points in June. Last month, GfK had predicted the June index at 6.8 points. GfK said the increase in July is due mainly to the "dynamic" development of consumers' inclination to spend.
