LONDON (AFX) - The euro zone manufacturing sector purchasing managers' index fell to a seasonally adjusted 52.3 in February from 52.9 in January, according to market sources. The prices index fell to 55.8 in February from 59.0 the previous month. A reading above 50 indicates that the manufacturing sector is generally expanding, while a reading below 50 suggests that it is generally contracting. The index is based on a questionnaire sent to purchasing executives in over 2,000 companies.
